Biography
Born in North Thoresby, Lincolnshire, England on 10 Oct 1805 to Thomas Kendall and Jane Quickfall.
Elizabeth Jane Kendall married Thomas Florance in Sydney in 1829; they were to have 12 children.
Elizabeth Florence passed away in August 1870, in Woolloomoolloo, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. She was buried aged 65 years, on the 27th August 1870 in Rookwood Cemetery, Sydney - Area: zone B section: B grave: 95 [1]

In Memoriam
FLORANCE - In memory of the late Mrs Elizabeth Florance, who died m 1870, and who arrived at thy Bay of Islands, Auckland, December 19th 1814 with her father the Rev. Thomas Kendall, under the charge of the Rev. Samuel Marsden, in the mission brig Active, in charge of Captain Dillon. Mother to Mrs Oliver Garrett (Thames); Mrs A. Williams (Arch Hill); Mrs J. Gillett (Ponsonby); and A. Florance, of this city. Though absent yet to memory dear.
